SPECIAL SEMINARY SESSIONS
Scholar, writer, and educator Dr. Walt Kaiser was the featured speaker for the 19th Barndollar Lectureship Series at Baptist Bible Seminary on September 10-13, 2012.
Distinguished Professor of Old Testament and President Emeritus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA, Dr. Kaiser spoke on "God's Future for Israel and the Near East."
Dr. Kaiser is an evangelical Old Testament scholar and serves on the boards of several Christian organizations. He has contributed to numerous publications. He has also written several books, including "Toward and Old Testament Theology," "Hard Sayings of the Old Testament," and "A History of Israel."

A special focus on leadership and a unique time of fellowship were featured at BBS' 2012 Minister's Enrichment Day, a powerful opportunity for pastors, youth pastors, and their wives to learn and be encouraged and refreshed.
The keynote speaker was Dr. John Jelinek, Vice President and Academic Dean, and Professor of Theology, at Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. Other speakers included BBC&S President Jim Jeffery, former BBS Dean Dr. Howard Bixby, Assistant Seminary Dean Dr. Lee Kliewer, BBS Professor Dr. Bill Arp, and BBS Director of Admissions Paul Golden.

Dr. Mike Stallard is Seminary Dean, Professor of Systematic Theology, and Director of Ph.D. Studies at Baptist Bible Seminary.
He is a frequent speaker, founder and director of Mission Scranton, and founding pastor at New Life Baptist Church in Scranton, PA.
He has written a commentary on 1 and 2 Thessalonians published by AMG Publishers and several articles in publications ranging from The Journal of Ministry and Theology and The Baptist Bulletin to The Conservative Theological Journal, Bibliotheca Sacra, and The Dictionary of Premillennial Theology.
