Speaker Bios

Tom Cragoe
Professor of Bible and Theology at BBC.
He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.D., 87; Th.M., 83) and Wheaton College (A.B., 79). He is married to Rebecca. Prior to coming to BBC in 2007, he served as a faculty member at Cedarville University and Moody Bible Institute and as a pastor.

Larry Green
Senior Pastor/Lead Elder at Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Cleveland Heights, OH.

Larry graduated from Cedarville University (B.A., 82) and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (M.Div., 86). He and his wife, Beth, have four sons. He serves on the boards of BBC&S and ABWE.
David Hixson
Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Sandusky, OH.
A native of Chattanooga, TN, he graduated from Tennessee Temple University and Temple Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). He and his wife, Faith, have three children—all BBC graduates. David previously served in pastoral roles in Alabama and Pennsylvania.

Jim Jeffery
Jim has served for 11 years as President of BBC&S.
A graduate of BBC and Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary (M.R.E.), he previously served as a pastor for 26 years. His passion is to help provide the very best faculty, campus life, facilities, and scholarships for students. He is married to Bert, and has three married children.

Jim Lytle
Vice President and Provost at BBC&S.
An alumnus of BBC, he earned his M.Div. and Th.M. from BBS and a D.Min. from Trinity International University. He previously taught and led at BBC. He and his wife, Diane, have three children. Before returning in 2007, the Lytles served with ABWE in South Africa.

Mark McGinniss
Associate Professor of Old Testament Literature, Languages, and Exegesis at BBS.
He previously served for 27 years as a high school teacher, youth pastor, principal, and later senior pastor in New Jersey. In addition to teaching, he serves at New Life Baptist Church in Scranton.
Jim Murphy
Head Pastor at First Baptist Church of Johnson City, NY.
He earned a Diploma of Theology from Practical Bible College, and bachelor's and master's degrees from Liberty University. He and his wife, Lorrie, have two adult children. He has served in pastoral and administrative roles and has a private counseling practice.
David Whiting
Lead Pastor at Northridge Church in Rochester, NY.
Born and raised in Des Moines, IA, he earned degrees at BBC and BBS. He and his wife, Susan, have three girls. After eight years as a youth pastor, David came to Northridge Church in 2001. His passion is to lead a church to make more and better disciples.
