Dick Thompson (1950)
We received word that Dick C. Thompson (1950) passed away on 2/1/13 at the age of 85. His wife, Anne has just passed away on 1/5/13. His daughter, Cynthia Williams, writes “Dad had a very active, diverse ministry. He pastored several churches full-time, served as the director of a home for alcoholic women, worked in prison ministries and as an interim pastor. His particular gift seemed to be as an interim pastor. I remember many a church where the congregation actually grew both in number and strength/commitment during his time with them. His obituary will be published in the Portland Press Herald starting Sunday 2/10. There is a link on that site for anyone who wishes to post or read stories/memories regarding Dad.
