August 2013 Update
Paul & Elaine Kintner (1965)
“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast
in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his
name together.” (Psalm 34:1-3)
We praise the Lord continually for His grace and blessings in our lives day by day. This past month has been a special time of blessing for us as we travelled in conferences, as well as spending time with family and friends. We are so blessed to have a loving family, extended family, church family, mission family, EBI team family, family of supporters of our ministry, as well as an extended family of believers in the countries and churches where we have ministered over the years. Won’t Heaven be wonderful!
The month of July began with a family reunion of Paul’s brothers and families in OH. The biggest surprise was when Paul’s younger brother drove in from Texas in Dad’s old 54’ Chevy pickup! We all learned to drive on that truck. Our children and grandchildren all got their turn to drive or ride in the truck. The guys even got out the old brass instruments and played a few tunes, for Paul, first time in 20 years. What a blessing to know that almost all family members know the Lord as Savior. This past month our grandchildren made significant decisions for Christ in their lives.
July 8-12 we attended the BMM annual conference in Elyria, OH, while staying with our dear friends, the Mayo’s in Grafton, OH. The church there was one of our first supporters in 1966. The classes and preaching were very uplifting . From there, we spent two weeks living in our camper in Winston-Salem, while visiting supporting churches in that area. Our son Tim and family joined us for the second week. We finished the month participating in a missionary conference in Nashville, TN, and then immediately back to our new home in Sebring, FL. Now Paul has his office set up, and books and everything in place.
We love our work at EBI, and have made many contacts regarding distribution; however we have a special prayer request: that we may find a local outreach ministry to Hispanics here in Sebring. We are blessed by the churches we have visited in Sebring; however we desire to be reaching out to souls where we are.
This week at the EBI office, we have hosted a family from Honduras that has established a distributorship for EBI materials in that country. They work diligently visiting churches and pastors’ conferences promoting and selling literature. They have just placed a new order for a few thousand dollars of materials for Honduras. There are prospects for a major distributorship in Lima, Peru later this year. Paul is considering a trip to Dominican Republic to work with pastors interested in acquiring materials. Pray for the staff here at EBI that works hard in production and shipping. Much of the materials are produced on site, and assembled manually. Local volunteers come in to assist at times. With increased demand, adjustments need to be made in the production phase. Praise the Lord!
Thank you for your prayers and support enabling us to serve the Lord here.
In His service,
Paul & Elaine
