ALUMNI PRAISE AND PRAYER

June 2013 Update

Jonathan & Sarah Weber  (2004)

Greetings!

The past month has been non-stop activity as our family was preparing for our summer in the USA as well as wrapping up the school year and as the church in Zoutleeuw was getting settled in the new building.

I am happy to report that God has been gracious along the way and allowed us to accomplish much in His strength: 1) On May 26th we received the keys to the new rental building and this set in action a flurry of activity to get the building ready to have our 1st service there on June 2nd; 2) On June 13th Jonathan traveled safely to the USA to start his summer of ministry; 3) On June 20th Jonathan attended an EBM meeting in Lafayette IN where he heard more from the EBM board about the dissolution of the organization; 4) On June 22nd Jonathan safely traveled to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to start speaking at churches and camps; and 5) On June 26th Daniel graduated from kindergarten.

As you praise the Lord for all that He has done for our family, would you please pray for Sarah and our children as they travel to the USA? On the morning of June 27th, Sarah, our four children and Jonathan's mother will be traveling from Brussels to London and then on to Chicago. Please pray for physical stamina and safe travels as they make this long journey. We are excited to be reunited as a family so that we can continue our summer ministry in the USA during the months of July and August!

Thank you for praying for our Family!

'I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds." Psalm 9:1

June 27 Update

Greetings!

Thank you for praying for Sarah as she traveled to the USA. I am happy to report that everyone made it safely to Chicago after a long day of travel!

When I spoke with Sarah, she was tired and ready for a good sleep after traveling from our home in Sint-Truiden to the airport in Brussels, then from Brussels to London and then from London on to Chicago. They are happy to be at a hotel in Chicago to get a night of rest before traveling Friday to Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Everyone had a long day with lots of hurrying in the airports but with lots of sitting in the confined spaces of the planes.

Please pray for Jonathan's mom as she flies tonight from Chicago to Pittsburgh and then drives home to Meadville PA. She is not feeling completely healthy, so she will need the Lord's strength to complete this very long day of travel. We are very grateful for all her love and help that she gave to our family in so many ways during the past month.

Thank you for praying for our Family!
