Getting off to a Good Start in 2013

As 2012 draws to an end, Karen and I want to express our gratitude for your prayers and support for ITE in 2012. Your investments allow us to invest in the lives of those preparing Christian leaders throughout the world.

On this final day of the year, would you consider giving toward the ministry projects we have planned for 2013? This will include training ministries in South Africa, Thailand, The Philippines and Turkey, to mention only a few.

May God richly bless you in 2013, and may we see stronger, more Biblically founded leadership developed as a result of our partnership together.

Off to Africa - In need of prayer!

I am leaving for Cape Town, South Africa in a few hours. Please pray for the following ministries over the next ten days.

1. Cape Town - We are laying the groundwork for the launch of the HIS Online Ministry Training Course. During the two days I have in the Cape, Darryl Meekins and I will meet with the President of the Evangelical Bible College, the President of the Bible Institute of South Africa, and the President and Dean at Cornerstone Institute. Pray that God will guide and energize these discussions. We will need good partners if this endeavor is to succeed. .

2. Durban - Friday I will reconnect with the people of the The Phoenix Fellowship and speak there on Sunday.

3. Pietermaritzburg - Sunday evening I will travel an hour North with missionary, Paul Hesman. Monday morning I start three days of training with the faculty of the Union Bible Institute. There will be 18 people in the training, and I anticipate some good interaction.

4. Harrisburg - Wednesday (16 January) evening I will fly home. Pray for Karen. She will not be going with me on this trip, which always makes the trip harder.

Thank you for the time you invest in prayer!
