ALUMNI PRAISE AND PRAYER

December 2012 Update

Paul & Elaine Kintner  (1965)

Dear Prayer Partners,

At this Christmas season we rejoice in our wonderful Savior,
Jesus "to seek and to save that which was lost." While we wait
His return, we have peace and assurance of His presence in our
guiding principle. We trust you have that peace that He provided
through faith in Him.

This year has brought many blessings and challanges in our
lives, and our faithful God has been present and leading us in
every way.

LOOKING BACK

. Pastor Aguilar and his wife moved from Mexico, and assumed that pastorate of our church in March of this year
. Paul was invited to preach at the National Mission conference in Lima, Peru in the month of September. It as a blessing to see children from our years there leading the churches forward.
. We were able to visit some of our supporting churches and friends in October and November
. God wonderfully provided for us throughout the year through faithful supporters, many of whom have supported us for 47 years.

LOOKING NOW

. Christmas cantata led by Elaine December 16th
. Closing the bookstore the end of December
. Assisting in the church, jail ministry, Source of Light Correspondence, etc.

LOOKING AHEAD

. We will be travelling to Trujillo, Peru January 10-22 for the 50th anniversary of La Esperanza Baptist Church, where we ministered from 1969-71
. Graduation from mission status of Christ Lives Baptist Church here in Winston-Salem, March 10th to fully independent and autonomousBaptist Church
. A few weeks vacation in Florida after graduation to prepare for future ministry.
. Traveling nationally and internationally as representative for Editorial Bautista Independiente, the literature ministry of Baptist Mid-Missions.
. THE LORD'S RETURN

With regards to our family, our three children, each married with three children and at least one dog per family, have been blessed throughout the year, and we have been blessed to enjoy their occasional visits. Our granddaughter Rachel, and son Tim and his wife will be going to Peru with us in January.

May God richly bless you as you remember the wonderful gift of God, Jesus Christ.

In His service,
Paul and Elaine
