We are glad, we are returning to the ministry God has called us to and the work we love. We are happy that Gordon will be moving to India with us to help in the ministry there. Please pray:
1. We will have a safe trip without problems on the way.
2. Quck adjustment for Gordon. He will be helping in the boys hostel, teach at Emmanuel English School and music ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pray God will give us a fruitful ministry as we return.
3. For leadership seminar for 2 church associations Oct. 9 to 12. Two visting speakers from the States will be teaching at the seminar.
4. VBS at Emmanuel High School. About 400 students, mostly non-Christians are expected to attend. Pray for salvation of many of the students.
5. Literacy and Translation workshops in November. A team from BI will be in Pailapool. Pray that much will be achieved in these workshops.
We praise the Lord for his daily grace and strength. Your prayer has been a tremendous help.
Thank you again for upholding us before the throne of grace.
In Christ,

October 9 Update

Dear friends,

Thanks for praying. We reached home Monday, instead of last Friday. Friday morning, In the retiring room in the airport at Kolkata as Nancy was coming out of the bathroom, there was a threshold about 6 inched high and she fell and had fracture and dislocation of the ankle bone. . With the help of a friend from Kolkata, we took her to an orthopedic surgeon in the city. Praise the Lord, she did not have to have surgery. She has a cast and the doctor said that the bone should set and heal. We stayed there Friday to Monday AM. The cast is to come off on Dec. 5. We got all the help needed at the right time along the way. God is good! Gordon went ahead with the luggage on Friday and was able to attend his cousin's wedding reception.

We are glad to be home finally and be with the church family. The church family is also gald that we are back. Please pray that the fractured bone will heal.

Please pray for God's grace and strength fpr Pastor Scott Williquette who is having a seminar for pastors and leaders of local churches and for the Bible college students in Silchar. Dr. Larry Foggle and his wife were not able to come as their visa was not granted in time. Larry was to team teach with Pastor Scott. It will conclude on Friday. Pray too that Larry will get his visa by tomorrow so he can leave on Friday to come to Manipur State to have a seminar there for church pastors and leaders. Pastor Scott and Larry are to team teach there. VBS for 4 days here at Emmanuel English School starts here on 17th. We are expecting an average of 375 children, mostly non-Christian. Please pray for salvation of many children.

Praising Him for His goodness,
Sana and Nancy
P.S. Sorry, we could not inform you earlier. We had access to e-mail only today.
