September 2012 Update

Pedro & Stephanie Garcia  (2002)

Dear Praying Friends,

This afternoon we shared with a friend that tomorrow (August 11) we leave on a journey that includes: 5 Kids ... 6 States ... in 18 Days! (He said it sounded like a movie title!) It is quite possibly our craziest trip to date and while there are many wonderful and happy events to be celebrated along the way, we do appreciate your prayers for "sanity" amidst it all.

Our journey begins with a week in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania where two of our children will participate in Baptist Bible College's Big Blue soccer camp. We look forward to catching up with friends and supporters in the area, as well as experiencing a special reunion with the birth family of one of our children.

From Pennsylvania we depart on August 18 to Northfield, Ohio where we will again catch up with old friends and also present our ministry to a brand-new church. (Please be praying for God's will to be done, as we are trusting Him for new supporting partners.) After a couple of nights in Ohio we will travel to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to a supporting church that has asked Stephanie to share with their ladies on Tuesday, August 21.

Wednesday, August 22 will find us on our way to La Crosse, Wisconsin to spend a few days with dear friends and supporters prior to driving to Iowa on August 24. On Saturday, August 25 we will celebrate the marriage of Pedro's sister, Nina. She and husband Kyle Starkweather were wed in an intimate ceremony with their parents present earlier this summer, and now the whole family has the privilege of sharing in their joy. Our daughters Eva and Isabel are part of Aunt Nina's wedding celebration party, and they are very proud and excited!

A whirlwind drive from Iowa to Michigan will allow us to report to one final church on Sunday evening, August 26 and enjoy one more visit with friends and supporters in that area. We hope to arrive back to Delaware on the 28th or 29th of August - just in time to welcome visitors for the holiday weekend and prepare for the beginning of a new school semester!

As always, thank you so much for your prayers and words of encouragement. It has been such a blessing to see and hear from so many of you during the past eight months we have been stateside. May God bless each one richly today.

In Christ,
Pedro & Stephanie Garcia
