VERACITY: MISSIONS CONFERENCE 2010
February 9-12

OVERVIEW
This special, generational-adapted three-day conference at BBC will place students, staff, and faculty
on the front lines of urban ministry in areas around the Northeast.

• Sessions to educate and equip students, staff, and faculty for greater service in global urban ministry settings.

• Mobilizing and motivating for hands-on ministry in five area locations.

• Opportunities to praise and share testimonies about ministry experiences from Thursday.

EXPLANATION OF THE WORD AND THE CONFERENCE:

This year’s mission conference theme is VERACITY: Taking the Truth to the City.

What is the focus of missions?  What is the focus of evangelism? What is the focus of the Christian life?  Each of these must focus on Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The dictionary definition of VERACITY is “devotion to the truth.” This is what we want to stress during the 2010 mission conference:  a passionate devotion to the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the power of God that changes people.
